Location was great for the city hotel staff very helpful and phoned taxis for us room was clean carpet was very stained but we had great time and excellent value breakfast was good
-
the staff were very accomadating, the breakfast was good not to mention the 24 hr bar !!
-
Generally very clean, however my room although clean smelt of fresh paint, the paint splashes were everywhere. The worst bit was the black mould on shower head, it needed dismantling and cleaning. TV had no buttons or remote, ok not a problem for me. Service was non existent when I checked out at 6.15am. So no breakfast or service. A budget hotel with bigger thoughts. Ok for 1 night as a stopover, but no more.

Good value for money, good breakfast. friendly staff . I have seen reviews stating the fact that the bar was 24hrs, however i was told straight away that the bar closed at 11 ...which was good as I had read reviews to the contrary which appeared to be wrong. the room was comfortable although dated, but served its purpose. towels and sheets were clean.
a little dated, no internet access.

The general feel for the staff was rather poor as they were quite condescending however there was one woman in particular - the lady in charge of serving breakfast and clearing the breakfast restaurant was extremely lovely and a pleasant addition to the homely atmosphere. One word of advice as a gm of a 5 star hotel myself, is that you should, for both health and safety, and legal reasons, employ more staff for her particular job as for her to do what she does alone is completely unacceptable and extremely difficult. I have 1200 staff working for me and I would never even on that scale leave so much work to one person

The public areas were not clean and the carpet and walls rather dirty, the rooms were O.k but on the whole, not very good
-
Great hotel for the money not luxury but for the money you pay great value staff friendly and helpful
-
Friendly staff. Good breakfast
You get what you pay for. Clean comfortable bed, good breakfast, excellent staff. My room was not the cleanest, and was in desperate need of refurbishment, but great value for the cost.
-
Staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially those doing breakfast . To be able to park a vehicle safely was a great plus and the hotel was quiet at night and in the mornings.Excellent self service breakfast at a very reasonable price. Would stay there again!
Only 2 very minor things. Room 304 needed a new loo roll holder and the TV had no remote. Otherwise fine!
-
Cheap, with friendly staff. Wi-fi and comfy bar. well located.
Overdue for decoration/ refurbishment. Room was as clean as you could get given the state of decor and repair.
-
Great value, the hotel is, as others have stated, being renovated but this is being done by locking off floors involved so does not get in the way at all, some of the furniture is still a little dated but the rooms are clean and well kept, the staff genuinely friendly and helpful and the included breakfast great for a hotel of this price. Overall great value and I will definitely use again.
-
the staff were nice , i like the fact it was cheap and the breakfast was lovely
the people next to us had music on very loud at 6 in the morning, would of thought a mamber of staff would of done something , the traffic going by was quite loud to , the walls could do with brughtening up , more frequent

I found the staff were very helpful and polite, always willing to help.
I didn't think the rooms were as clean as they could be, we had large stains on the carpet, and the bathroom didn't look like it had been thoroughly cleaned in a while. We also had to wait 6 hours for toilet roll, as we hadn't been provided with a full roll when we checked in. On the other hand, the bed was fine and clean.
-
Room clean , bed comfortable , bathroom small with tiles coming away from shower wall and lots of black fungal growth in grouting , nevertheless functioned well.
Noise from late night bar revellers.
-
the breakfast. the bar area was not bad ,ample parking and good location
the hotel needs redecorating, the rooms are scruffy with poor facilities,no telephones basic televisions and out of date information.
